Shout! Factory to Problem Richard Pryor Compact disc/DVD Box Set (Exclusive)

Santa Monica's Shout! Factory, recognized for making classy Dvd disks of classic Television shows (such as the October release Barney Burns: The Entire Series), has joined with Indigo Corporation. to create and distribute a Compact disc/DVD box set dedicated to comedian Richard Pryor's entire careeer: comedy records, complete concert films and television special highlights. "From his classic programs to fresh, undiscovered material,this box set will give you a wealthy summary of his comedy vision,"Indigo CEOJennifer Lee Pryorsaid. The set is going to be launched in summer time 2012. Shout! Factory also introduced a brand new type of deal for the organization: Rather than simply certification DVD privileges towards the hit 1960-64 Television show Route 66, it bought proprietary privileges towards the series, including all 116 original episodes, aged materials, worldwide home theatre and digital privileges and United States broadcast privileges. "Once we are strongly growing our buying libraries of premiere television and flicks, this deal demonstrates the kind of proper purchases we intend to positively pursue," stated Shout! co-founders Richard Foos, Bob Emmer and Garson Foos inside a joint statement.
