So many red carpets, so many moments. (Lady Gaga arriving to the Grammys in an egg? Pippas scene-stealing backside?) Heres how the best of the best breaks down. BEST AGE DEFYING STYLE WHO: Jennifer Lopez WHY: One hot mama! Super short minis and gravity defying plunging necklines at 42 years old. She has rewritten the rules and redefined how a woman in her forties dresses. In fact, she looks better than half the women her age. I got razzed at work because I would tune into Idol just to see what she would wear, but I love her style. She keeps things interesting. BEST CASUAL STYLE WHO: Jennifer Aniston WHY: She doesnt stray very far from her go-to staples like tank tops, cargo pants, leather jackets and motorcycle boots. You know what? It works. Why mess with perfection? BEST SEXY STYLE WHO: Sofia Vergara WHY: With a body like hers, she cant help but be sexy. But the thing I love about Sofia is that she is never vulgar. She plays up her assets, but doesnt expose too much. Thats a true lady. BEST CLASSIC STYLE WHO: Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge WHY: Even under enormous pressure to look perfect, Kate makes it all look so easy. Elegant and classy no matter if shes wearing high fashion or clothes from the high street, she got off to a stylish start. Yes, her wedding dress was gorgeous. BEST MOMMY-TO-BE STYLE WHO: Beyonce WHY: She still rocks 5-inch heels as well as high end designers like Lanvin, Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Cavalli. I wish I had her maternity style when I was pregnant! BEST HIP MOMMY STYLE WHO: Gwen Stefani WHY: Ive seen her in action at the playground myselfwearing fierce riding boots and jacketwith her signature red lipstick and not a hair out of place. I love her leather jackets and edgy shoes too. BEST OUTRAGEOUS STYLE WHO: Gaga, of course WHY: No one even comes close to the over-the-top ensembles she comes up with. I give her lots of credit for being extremely creative. BEST NEWCOMER STYLE WHO: Hailee Steinfeld WHY: The True Grit star and Oscar nominee wowed on red carpet after red carpet with her spot-on and age-appropriate style. At just 14, she even became the face of Miu Miu. BEST GUY STYLE WHO: David Beckham WHY: Whether casual cool or red carpet handsome, hes hands down the most suave dresser around. Watch Madonna and Her W.E. Cast Make Their Movie Appear Enjoyable in 24-Minute Doc
I am clearly a thundering shill for Madonna whether she’s making terrible movies along with her ex-husband or making terrible movies with Griffin Dunne, but there’s something about W.E.’s self-serious, accidental telenovela that’s not necessarily watchably bad. It’s just humorless and overlong — though Andrea Riseborough is fabulous since the polarizing Wallis Simpson. In the new 24-minute documentary about Madonna’s large feature, the director and her cast do their utmost to promote their watercolored biopic, and I only say for you what? They execute a good job. Don’t request me to explain it. But James D’Arcy still seems like Anthony Perkins, so shut up and start crying in adoration. Here’s what strikes me just like a little misguided: 1) The best importance placed upon the costuming and jewelry. W.E. feels as if a P Ales commercial wonderful its slow-motion carat porn. 2) Wallis Simpson is certainly a fascinating historic figure, but there’s no there there if this involves a satisfying character arc. Madonna has always loved questionable women, but she’s ultimately too tame an iconoclast for this kind of extended movie. Still, I search Madonna’s commentary here. It generates for me expect a great follow-up feature — though in the event you request me, she need her hands at pointing a thrilling-female comic ensemble. If her acting past is any suggestion, that’s her surest wager for fulfillment. W.E. - Marketing Documentary [YouTube]

Ladies versus. Ough Bahl
A Yash Raj Films discharge of a Yash Raj production. Created by Aditya Chopra. Executive producers, Aashish Singh, Sanjay Shivalkar. Directed by Maneesh Sharma. Script, Devika Bhagat dialogue, Habib Faisal story, Aditya Chopra. With: Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Parineeti Chopra, Dipannita Sharma, Aditi Sharma. (Hindi dialogue)Maneesh Sharma's sophomore outing, "Ladies versus. Ough Bahl," reunites the director and stars of 2010's surprise hit "Wedding Organizers" inside a tale of the sexy disadvantage artist and the comeuppance as a result of three women he's fleeced. This latest Yash Raj production depends on rapid-fire editing, vibrant perfs, snappy dialogue along with a driving score to accelerate the film beyond the speed where auds will notice repetition and incongruencies. Despite the possible lack of imagination sucks plot twists of the resourcefulness, "Ladies" will coast sufficiently on its actors' charm to attain solid B.O. following its worldwide 12 ,. 9 bow. Ough Bahl (Ranveer Singh), a disadvantage guy who passes another title, profession and personality in each city, bears greater than a passing resemblance to Romain Duris' professional lothario in "Heartbreaker." Appearing like a professional trainer in Delhi, he romances wealthy, petulant, impulsive Dimple (newcomer Parineeti Chopra inside a carefully updated comic turn), ingratiates themself together with her father and, inside a brilliant little bit of theater, bilks him from a lot of money. In Mumbai, he impersonates a brash, insolent art dealer to be able to sell a forged painting to energy-suited businesswoman Regina (Dipannita Sharma), eager to meet her boss's impossible demands. As well as in Lucknow (in flashback), he palms themself off like a shy country boy looking for marketplaces for village craftspeople, duping sweet, soft-spoken widow Saira (Aditi Sharma) and her encouraging merchant in-laws and regulations. The 3 completely different women then band together to restore their cash as well as their pride. They find Ough in Goa and hire vivacious, irresistible saleswoman Ishika (Anushka Sharma, reprising her lead role opposite Singh in "Wedding Organizers") to pose being an American millionaire's daughter trying to make opportunities. She dangles herself before Ough, with inevitable results. The women gradually catch their seafood while divesting him of his ill-become gains. But as opposed to Ricky's carefully orchestrated, ingeniously concocted ripoffs, the women's payback plan is removed as flimsy, foreseeable and disappointingly gender-biased improbably cooking and sewing up bad weather, they exorbitantly charge Ough for fine cuisine and haute couture. For the majority of the film's other half, the trio simply follows Ough and Ishika to follow the progress of the strategy, cutely hiding, and appearing, to spy on these questions comic routine that rapidly develops stale because the film devolves right into a soppy romance sustained exclusively through the actors' chemistry. Pic's overall fast pace turns positively frenetic within the energetic musical amounts, without any shot staying longer than the usual couple of seconds.Camera (color, widescreen), Asseem Mishra editor, Namrata Rao music, Salim-Sulaiman lyrics, Amitabh Bhattacharya production designer, Wasiq Khan costume designers, Aki Narula, Arun Chauhan, Ayesha Khanna seem (Dolby Digital), Pritam Das seem editor, Renganaath Ravee choreographer, Viabhavi Merchant, Shruti Merchant assistant director, Akshat Kapil. Man Shot in the Face in L.A. Shooting Is Longtime Music Industry Executive
The identity of a man shot in the face during Friday's shooting in Hollywood has been revealed.our editor recommendsL.A. Shooting: Hollywood Reporter Editor Shot, Recalls IncidentGunman Opens Fire Near Hollywood's ArcLight Theater (Video) Music industry executive John Atterberry, in critical condition at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center, was sitting in his silver Mercedes on Friday by the intersection of Sunset Blvd. and Vine St. when the gunman shot him. Atterberry is a longtime recording industry manager and promoter and has been involved with acts like The Spice Girls, Brandy and Jessica Simpson, law enforcement sources told the Los Angeles Times. VIDEO: Gunman Opens Fire Near Hollywood's ArcLight Theater "I was shocked to hear the news," saysCourtney Barnes, publicist for Smokey Robinson and Ron Artest who has worked with Atterberry before."His office is nearby, ours is four blocks away, it could have been any ofus driving through that intersection." Barnes describes Atterberry as "areally nice guy." Police still do not have a motive for the shooting. The gunman, identifiedas 26-year-old Tyler Brehm by the Los Angeles County Coroner's office, randomly opened fire at approximately 10:19 a.m. near the ArcLight Cinemas. The suspect allegedly fired between nine and 12 shots before being killed by police, according to reports. When he ran out of bullets, the gunman allegedly pulled out a knife, yelling, "Kill me" and "I want to be killed." In what the Los Angeles Police Department called a "random shooting," witnesses enlisted the help of two police officers who were working on a nearby movie set after seeing a man open fire in the street. The man walked northbound on Vine with a gun in the air and when cars began driving by, lowered his gun and fired at them. One of those vehicles who was shot at was a THR.com photo editor, who was on his way to work from his North Hollywood home when the gunman fired at his black truck, which was captured on video. AMC Acquires Off-Network Privileges Of CSI: Miami, Improving Series Renewal Chances
It is really an odd pairing — Don Draper and Horatio Caine will be on a single network! In the to begin with-network acquisition, AMC, home of Mad Males, Breaking Bad and also the Walking Dead, has acquired the off-network privileges to CBS’ veteran procedural CSI: Miami. The offer with CBS Television Distribution, stated to become worth hundreds of huge amount of money, covers the present 10 seasons of CSI: Miami in addition to Seasons 11 and 12 if created. (Today’s deal certainly increases the likelihood of the show ongoing on CBS past the current tenth season). Except for Seasons 11 and 12, which AMC would get solely, the pact is non-exclusive. A&E, which in fact had been the exclusive cable home of CSI: Miami, continues to air the show from 6 AM-4 PM. AMC gets fringe and primetime privileges having a 4 PM-6 AM window. The drama starring David Caruso can make its debut on AMC on Jan. 2 at 5 PM and can air within the hour Monday through Friday. CSI: Miami is area of the greatly popular CSI franchise and probably the most viewed series on the planet. Like a procedural, it's also highly repeatable, that is key for cable systems searching for methods to boost their lineups. Being an hourlong, CSI: Maimi will even give AMC versatility arranging-smart. To date, the network have been in a position to complement its original series just with movies that are harder to schedule due to their different length. Still, CSI: Miami, a meat-and-potato procedural which has never been nominated for major honours, appears as an odd companion to AMC’s selection of acclaimed originals. Furthermore, it's interesting that in the evolution, AMC takes a direction opposite towards the conventional one. Most cable network begin with off-network product and progressively expand into originals. AMC established itself like a strong original series player before going into off-network purchases.

Quirky Icelandic Comedy Takes Turin Film Festival's Top Prize
DETROIT -- Dr. Feelgood, the Theatre of Pain and, of course, plenty of Girls, Girls, Girls are taking up residency in Las Vegas during February.our editor recommendsConcert Review: Motley Crue at the Hollywood BowlMotley Crue Rocker Vince Neil Charged With Battery Motley Crue in Sin City will hunker down from Feb. 3-19, 2012 at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The 12-show run will include Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 5), Valentine's Day and President's Day, and the band members are promising an extravaganza that will both live up to and surpass their usual theatrical standards. PHOTOS: 20 Best and Worst Music to Movie Crossovers "It's gonna be just over-the-top craziness," frontman Vince Neil told Billboard.com during a conference call with reporters. "Vegas is pretty much based on big, big shows, and Motley Crue is also. We're putting together a show right now that's something we have never done in our lives. It's a stationary show. It doesn't have to move around, so we can do all kinds of stuff we only really dreamed about." Neil said the group plans for the production to be "interactive," with even those seated towards the back or the top of the venue "encompassed in the show." Drummer Tommy Lee added that, "I think more and more people are wanting an experience, and we're trying to bring that into this where people aren't necessarily at the show, they're IN the show. We're really trying to design something here that, when you leave there, you're wearing the show. You're taking parts of it with you. It's on you ... Why not make it a full-on experience, really? We're putting together moments of this show where the actual audience participates. They're in it. They're around it. It's going to be really exciting." PHOTOS: A History of Grunge in Pictures Neil and Lee did not share specific details to share about the production but Lee said that the show would involve "other entertainers ... and not in a musical fashion," as well as dancers in various stages of undress. "It sure would be fun to really do it Vegas style and have there be some nudity, or almost nude," Lee said, to which Neil added, "Basically, Tommy's saying there'll be lots of naked girls on stage." Lee also revealed he'll be using a modified, "even more crazy" version of the rollercoaster-like track that let him play upside down during the Crue's concerts this year. "Vegas is known for its huge, over the top shows," said Neil, who resides there when the band is off the road. "That's why I think we're a perfect fit for this." Lee, meanwhile, noted that "having (the show) not have to move every night really opens a bunch of doors for us -- literally trap doors." The Crue, whose last album was 2008's "Saints of Los Angeles," does not plan to include any brand new music in the shows, but Lee predicted there will be some flexibility in the set list from night to night. "I would imagine our plans are probably to switch it up," he said. "If we're doing a Friday, Saturday and Sunday, chances are there might be some people coming to see two shows ore maybe even three if they're there. Who knows? So I imagine we'll mix it up." The Motley Crue in Sin City show dates are Feb. 3-5, 8, 10-12, 14-15, 17-19. Ticket prices are $85 for the general admission pit and reserved floor seating, and $65 for balcony reserved with $129.50-$179.50 VIP packages. The presale has already started; public sales begin at 10 a.m. Saturday [Dec. 3] at www.motley.com, www.thejointlasvegas.com and www.ticketmaster.com. The Hard Rock is also offering vacation packages that include tickets to the show. Lee and Neil says the Crue will consider returning to Las Vegas for another residency, perhaps for even greater lengths. "If it's successful and works out for everybody, why not?" Neil says. "That's what's great about Vegas -- people from all over the world are here for a few days, then move on, new people always coming in. Basically you're having the world come to you." That said, the Crue -- which begins a six-date U.K. tour with Def Leppard and Steel Panther on Dec. 6 -- is planning to see some more of the world during 2012. A North American tour is likely, but Lee said whether it will be a Crue Fest package hasn't been determined. "We're still discussing and putting together plans for the summer ... planning the rest of our new year," the drummer explains. "Right now we're focusing on getting the Vegas residency dialed in." The quartet is also reported to be publishing a 10th anniversary expanded edition of its band memoir The Dirt -- Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band, but neither Neil nor Lee specified what new material will be included. Colony Capital in hunt for Summit
A year after buying Miramax, Colony Capital has become a possible second bidder for Summit Entertainment along with Lionsgate.Reps for Summit and Colony Capital declined to comment but people familiar with the situation said that Colony and Summit had been in talks about a possible deal in recent weeks. News of the Lionsgate negotiations with Summit emerged earlier this week -- although neither company has officially confirmed -- with Lionsgate having engaged JP Morgan as an adviser. Both deals would bolster Summit's ability to operate as a minimajor in that both Lionsgate and Miramax possess significant libraries. Colony completed a $663 million buyout of Miramax from Disney in December 2010. Since then, Miramax execs have combed through hundreds of boxes in a warehouse in Los Angeles containing the details of about 650 projects developed under the previous regime and reached a deal with Lionsgate and StudioCanal on worldwide distribution rights to more than 550 library titles.Lionsgate has been active in exploring acquisitions while stressing that it won't overpay. It's had discussions with Summit about uniting going back as far as the fall of 2008, just before the bow of the first "Twilight" pic and had on-again, off-again talks about a merger with MGM as well.Privately held Summit announced Tuesday that "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 1" had hit $508 million in worldwide box office in its first 12 days. The final "Twilight" film will open Nov. 16. Contact Dave McNary at dave.mcnary@variety.com
