were you restricted from watching certain movies as a kid if so what kind of movies?

i always hear people being surprised at movies ive seen when i was
young. my parents pretty much let me watch anything i wanted as long
as it wasnt rated R until i was 15 then they didnt care (there were
exceptions such as saving private ryan, backdraft, and other movies
that were just violent but didnt have too much sex in it)

what kind of movies were you not allowed to watch when you were
younger?
Blood Sport was the shit when i was 8
